Caroline and Jason McClain's First Dance

This was filmed from someone at my cousin Jason's Wedding this past weekend. I think it is so cool! It is a Peruvian Waltz. They lived in Peru for a while this year. I sadly missed the wedding but my Mom told me about it and it sounded wonderful.

We had meetings with the caterer yesterday for our wedding. We got a lot of stuff figured out including the table linens and everything. I am excited! Our theme is Autmun so that is the key if you come to the wedding. I think it is a wonderful setting for a fall wedding.

I found out from my mom a few more peoplet that are coming as well as some that are not. Those who aren't I didn't expect to come. My cousin Ali had a baby early this year and I totally understand her not wanting to travel with him, her husband is going to be away on business from what I understand. I'll get to meet her son one of these days. For now I can enjoy pictures people share ^_^

5 more weeks!

That is right folks 5 more weeks. I've heard personally from a handful of people that they are coming. My parents should be on their way back from Alabama at this point so I'll be able to find out first hand if they have recieved any of the reply cards back from people.

Tomorrow we are meeting with the caterer to finish up stuff at the Boettcher Mansion and to pick out our linens and silverware and such. I am excited! We also get to show them our idea of the centerpieces. Chris and I will then just need to order the flowers and pick up the rocks we need.. lol.. for the centerpieces.. it will work with the location trust me!

5 weeks from now I'll be married and enjoying my reception at this time.. and 5 weeks from tomorrow I'll be landing in Orlando, FL by now. I am so excited about everything. Chris and I need to book a hotel room. For the weekend of the wedding. We've agreed to make it easy and stay together the night before the wedding. Once we arrive at the Boettcher though we wont see eachother till I walk down the aisle.. ^_^

I have to make table assignments, my mom said that even though originally we were going to just let everyone pick their own table she said some people might feel better if they know where they are sitting. I guess that does make sense so as I find out who is coming I'm going to start making a list of who should sit at what table. Then we need to get a bunch of little name cards and label them. Oh the fun. Haha.

In non wedding news Chris and I intend to try and go to the Zoo soon. We haven't been yet this year and with my new camera I am dying to go. I plan on taking it with me to the Boettcher tomorrow and try and get some shots if I can.

Also it seems I picked poorly in the football pool this week.. oh well its all in good fun.

Hair and Makeup Success!

So I had fun last night. Chris was a little frustrated just because we didn't get home until nearly midnight! Ugh, that was due to traffic caused by construction and our normal exit on I-25 was closed and we had to go up to the next exit and take another road back down. We also got a little lost in Golden because it was dark and the signs to get to I-70 east bound were confusing.

Still the appointment itself was great and I really liked the woman. Also I got bangs.. which will grow on me more I'm sure and of course grow out.. they look great with the hair for the wedding though.. lol.. and she colored my hair. I like it.. ^_^



This is a sample.. the back looks great too but I'll save that for the big day.. ^_^

The makeup around the eyes will be lighter because it will be during the day and natural lighting but I felt like a pretty princess hahaha..

But in general I am haaaappy.. ^_^

Tuesday, Tuesday

This weekend was actually very productive. 40 more days to go!

I met my mom on Saturday at Starbucks, mmm coffee! We were in search of some very specific things, jewelry, a wrap (in case it is cold, as it does tend to snow on Halloween), a head piece and shoes. I was excepting some success but we had total success. I also got to try on the sample of my wedding dress again! Sooo exciting. We found earrings and a bracelet at Macy's, a necklace at the Sterling Silver store, a wrap at Dillards, and shoes and a reeeeeaally pretty headband at Dina's Bridal. So I am not going with the flower on the side image I was thinking about (see the early hair post) but I am really happy with what I did find.

Things are getting really busy now, tonight I have my hair trial. She is only at the salon tues-thurs. We are meeting with the Boettcher Mansion on the 27th, as well as our caterer to pick linens. My dress ships on the 27th so I am hoping to be able to go try it on and get the hem setup on the 2nd. My bridal shower is on the 3rd and we meet the DJ on the 4th. We are doing our Bachelor/Bachelorette co-op party on the 16th. We have several people to pay between now and the 31st. I still have to work a lot between now and the end of Oct.

Tomorrow is the first day of Fall, but it still has been really warm out so I'm hoping that it means it wont be snowing on Halloween this year. We shall see. The weather here is always crazy.

Chris and I need to pick up the stuff for the favors and the centerpieces. We need to get gifts for people involved in the wedding. So much to do and time is starting to quickly tick by..

Oh I do have some new photos to share.. not many.. I looove my new camera though.. can't wait to get to disney world. ^_^.. my mom said she is going to use my camera at my wedding for me!!

First off, I have had a cold all week and been really achey and cruddy feeling. I woke up feeling amazing this morning! So yay for that.
Second, I got a reply card given to me and it was a confirmed reply so I'm really excited now. Some one is coming to my wedding! Hahaha. One of guys we invited from work. Who we have known since we started is coming. Yay!
Third, it is friday and I get go home and have pizza. Hahaha.
Fourth, I am going shopping with my Mom tomorrow.

So I have lots to be happy about right now. Can't wait to get home. Chris had to stay home today because everyone is off on a fishing trip and one of the alpacas went into labor this morning right before we had to leave for work.

Its been a busy day and I am happy it is nearly over.

I can't wait to start hearing who is coming to my wedding!
